Independent. Evidence-Based. Transparent.
Liver Health Reviews was founded to bring rigorous, clinical-grade analysis to a supplement category that is too often dominated by marketing over science.
Why We Built This Platform
The liver supplement market is worth over $2 billion annually — and most of it is built on weak formulations, hidden dosages, and marketing claims that outpace the science. We built Liver Health Reviews because we believe consumers deserve better.
Every review on this site is produced by a team with clinical nutrition backgrounds. We apply a consistent, publicly documented scoring rubric, disclose all commercial relationships, and refuse to publish reviews for products that fail our minimum evidence threshold.
Evidence-Based Criteria
Our 5-axis scoring system is built on peer-reviewed clinical literature, not brand claims.
Full Transparency
We disclose all affiliate relationships and apply our scoring rubric before any commercial arrangements are made.
Clinician-Led Reviews
All product evaluations are led by credentialled clinical nutritionists, not general writers.
No Pay-to-Play
We do not accept payment for editorial rankings. Scores are determined by our rubric alone.
Our Scoring Methodology
How we evaluate every liver supplement we review
1. Ingredient Quality & Bioavailability (20 pts)
We assess whether each ingredient uses a clinically validated form. Generic milk thistle scores lower than patented Siliphos®. Standard B1 scores lower than Benfotiamine. We reward formulas that invest in bioavailability.
2. Clinical Dosage Compliance (20 pts)
We cross-reference each ingredient dose against the studied therapeutic range in the peer-reviewed literature. Sub-clinical doses receive proportionally lower scores.
3. Full-Spectrum Coverage (20 pts)
Liver health doesn't exist in isolation. We assess whether the formula addresses the downstream effects of liver stress: brain function, mood, energy, and recovery — not just hepatic enzyme support.
4. Transparency & Third-Party Testing (20 pts)
Proprietary blends that hide individual dosages are penalised. We reward formulas with full label transparency, published Certificates of Analysis, and GMP certification.
5. Value for Money (20 pts)
We calculate the price per day and assess it relative to formula quality, completeness, and clinical evidence. A premium price is justified by a premium formula — but not by marketing alone.
